Title'Surgeon's blade'
DescriptionThis curved blade was used by surgeons in the 1700s for amputation. The blade became straighter once the practice of leaving a flap of skin to cover the limb stump became the preferred amputation method. Also known as a 'Surgeon's Blade'.
