Title	Margaret Rachel Huxley
Description	Black and white portrait photograph of Margaret Rachel Huxley in nursing uniform. Huxley was a nursing pioneer and educator who held positions as matron of the Dublin National Eye and Ear Infirmary before being appointed as lady superintendent and matron of Sir Patrick Dun's Hospital in Dublin. She helped to create the Dublin Metropolitan Technical School for Nurses, which provided instruction to both experienced and probationer nurses. Includes Huxley's signature below image.
