Title	Sketch of Saint-Lô by a German Prisoner of War
Description	Ink sketch depicting a statue of 'La Lairiere Normande' [the Norman milkmaid] at the Square des Beaux Regards in the ramparts of the Saint-Lô Public Gardens. The following inscription is written on the reverse of the image: "Saint-Lô, 30.8.46 This is a not unknown picture of Saint-Lô for you! May this little present be a souvenir of this town and a young German! Most obliged your Horst[?] Bechstein. From a German Prisoner of War. Presented to Miss M. Crowley Matron Irish Red Cross Hospital St Lô."
