Title	The Academic Nurse Tutors' Association
Description	Records relating to the Academic Society of Nurse Tutors. The Society was established to work towards standards of nursing care in accordance with modern scientific advancement through personal progress in professional ethical standards; through continued research, revision and contact with Institutes of Higher Education; and by meeting to study essential changes to advance reform in nursing education as recommended by the Expert Committee of the World Health Organization and the Council of Europe in consultation with An Bord Altranais (now the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland). The first meeting of the Society took place on 19th February 1962 at 11 Fitzwilliam Place in Dublin.
