Title	Surgical Photograph Album
Description	Photograph album presented to the Library of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland by Maurice Henry Collis FRCSI in February 1869. Contains sepia portrait photographs of individual patients showing the results of surgery to treat deformities of the head and neck arising from disease (e.g. tumours) and genetics (e.g. cleft lip or cleft palate). Often contains dated photographs of the same patient, pre- and post- surgery, with short accompanying manuscript annotations - probably in Collis' hand - describing treatment and outcome.
