Title'Drawings Done for William Wallace 1791-1838'
DescriptionLarge leather bound volume containing colour illustrations of skin conditions in patients. Includes graphic illustrations of male genitalia, often in the context of venereal disease [sexually transmitted disease], and commonly syphilis.

Gold script on the spine reads 'Drawings Done for William Wallace 1791-1838'. A manuscript note on the first page reads 'Drawings done for William Wallace, with annotations by John Morgan'. Bound at a later date by RCSI Library.

Extensive manuscript annotations throughout including patient names and references to accompanying case histories by volume and page number in Wallace's patient catalogues [see RCSI/IP/Wallace/01]. Some drawings are duplicates of loose illustrations catalogued individually in RCSI/IP/Wallace/02/01. Loose leafs inserted.
